It is the operation of setting prominent ears back closer to the head, or reduce the size of pinna. Most often is performed on children between the ages of 6 and 12 years Actually this operation is recommended to be performed on before school age. It is performed under general anesthesia. It takes 1-1.5 hours. Back to school work is possible in 5-7 days. Strenuous activity is avoided 1-2 months.
