Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
It is the operation to lift and reshape the sagging breasts. The excess skin is removed and remaining tissue and nipples are repositioned. It takes 1,5 -2,5 hours. It is performed under general anesthesia. The patient stays 1 or 2 days in the hospital. Back to work is possible in 1 week. Strenuous activities is avoided 1 month. Fading of scars takes several months. Gravity, pregnancy, aging, and weight changes may cause new sagging. Augmentation by silicon implants can be performed at the same time when necessary.
